I made a Kusudama last week. It wasn't easy. I didn't want to end up wasting paper, so I practiced with newspaper first, and predictablly screwed it up! I quickly realised what I was doing wrong, so I started with the nice paper. It took about 6-7 hours to make.
And the suru is for Heath Ledger...

Iso, it a modular origami. its a decoration and should ideally be hung!
I learned it from a book that Poro gave when she came. Isn't it awesome?! am dying to try more, but what with so many readings to finish first!
